User meetings are sessions organized by the exhibiting companies, usually manufacturers of research software and/or instruments. These meetings provided forums in which users:

• exchange information and experience with fellow users,
• learn about the latest product developments,
• view prototypes of new products, and
• discuss product development, release schedules, installation and support procedures, etc.

At Measuring Behavior 2000 and 2002 user meetings were held by the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Data Sciences International, PatternVision and Noldus Information Technology. During Measuring Behavior 2005 Noldus Information Technology will again organize several user meetings. These meetings will consist of presentations in which Noldus staff address technical details and future directions of product development, and a panel discussion in which users can ask questions, present their ideas, etc. At Noldus Information Technology, we are strong believers in customer-driven and user-centered product design. The participatory nature of the meeting gives you a unique oppertunity to influence the development of the tools you will be using in your own work. User meetings usually last 90 - 120 minutes. The user meetings are announced in the program book an on the conference website.
