How to get to Maastricht
If you travel to the Netherlands by plane, you will most likely arrive
at Schiphol Amsterdam Airport. Eindhoven Airport and Maastricht-Aachen Airport are two other good options. The easiest way to get from Schiphol
to Maastricht is by car. There are several car rental companies at the airport. Travel distance
is approximately 225 km. For a detailed route description by car, check

By plane
There are several options to fly to the Netherlands:
The main airport of the Netherlands is Schiphol Amsterdam Airport. This international airport is located approximately 225 kilometers from Maastricht. From there on you can travel to Maastricht by train or by car. Nearest to the conference venue is Maastricht-Aachen
Airport which is located 10 kilometers from MECC Maastricht and only 15 minutes
away by car, taxi, or bus.
Another option is Eindhoven Airport, approximately 100 kilometers from Maastricht. This international airport has direct flights to and from over 15 European cities, and is a good alternative for Schiphol Amsterdam Airport.

train
Maastricht-Randwyck train station is located 250 meters from MECC Maastricht
and is part of the national (Netherlands Railways) and international railway network like Eurostar (international railway network) and Thalys (international railway network for the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Germany). There
are frequent trains to Maastricht Central Station, which is also linked
to the national and international railway network.
Upon arrival at Maastricht
Central station you can take a taxi or bus to get to your hotel. Ask
the driver to take you to the address of the hotel. All taxi drivers
in the Netherlands speak English.
By
bus
Maastricht's
metropolitan bus company runs a regular service between the city centre,
Maastricht Central Station and MECC Maastricht. There is a bus about
every five minutes (Forum bus stop).
By
car
You
will begin to see signs for MECC Maastricht as soon as you reach the
outskirts of Maastricht. Follow these signs until you reach the MECC
car park. If you are travelling south on the A2/E25 motorway (from Amsterdam-Eindhoven),
take exit 55 signed for 'Randwyck-MECC'. If you are travelling north
on the A2/E25 motorway (from Paris-Liège) take exit 56 signed
for 'Gronsveld-MECC'.
