Special Interest Groups

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are sessions for up to 20-40 participants focusing on a specific methodological or technical topic. More than the oral presentations in the auditoriums, a SIG is an excellent format for in-depth discussion.

SIGs are organized by conference delegates on the basis of a proposal that has been reviewed by the Scientific Program Committee prior to the conference. The content of the SIG is determined by the organizers and may include presentations by the organizers and/or participants, demonstrations, discussion, etc.
