Demonstration: Physical activity observation smartsensor prototype.

Presenter: Hans Hõrak, Univesrity of Tartu, Estonia

Schedule: Thursday 19th May 2022, 14:45 - 15:00 CET Virtual Room 1

Abstract: Demonstration of the real-time video analysis sensor for automatic direct observation of physical activity. Red indicates that the detected person is sedentary or engaged in light physical activity; Blue indicates that the detected person is moderately to vigorously active. Real-time video analysis allows to extract relevant information from the video signal without human eyes witnessing any personal information. This technology is being developed mainly for enabling new research designs for school-based physical activity intervention research.
