MB response to the situation in Ukraine

MB response to the situation in Ukraine

Measuring Behavior 2022 was originally planned to take place in Kraków, Poland, before we decided to go online. Like other Polish cities, Kraków is now filled with a large number of refugees fleeing from the war in Ukraine. The refugees are not escaping a natural disaster but are being driven out by a violent invasion of their home country by The Russian Federation, in flagrant violation of international norms and treaties. In response to this situation, the program chairs of Measuring Behavior 2022 have decided that delegates from The Russian Federation will not be welcome at the conference. With this action, we are standing together with a huge number of universities and other organizations throughout Europe and the rest of the world. We do believe that this and all the many other actions will have a significant impact on the Russian government, and will cause a realization that this war is wrong and must stop immediately.
