Special issue Frontiers in Psychology

Presenters at the joint meeting of Measuring Behavior 2020 and the 6th Symposium on Behavioral Methods are invited to submit full papers to a special issue in Frontiers in Psychology. This is in the form of a Research Topic 'Developments in Implicit Measurements'. The intention is that you write up a full paper based on the abstract or short paper that you submit for your MB presentation, but to give extra flexibility, the Research Topic is already open for submission.

Topic

Whereas explicit measures in psychology are based on asking people about their experiences, implicit measures rely on direct measures of the subjects' behavior and physiology. Although implicit measures can be harder to acquire, they are less likely to suffer from bias and misinterpretation that questionnaires. New developments in implicit and objective tools and methodology have always had a prominent role in MB conferences, and so we expect a rich and diverse set of papers in the special issue.

Other special journal issues

In addition to the above, we will also have a special issue of the Journal of Neuroscience Methods and the Conference Proceedings are also peer-reviewed.
