PhenoRat Satellite Event on Behavioral Phenotyping

On Tuesday 26 August afternoon, PhenoRat*, an EU-funded research project, organizes a satellite event on behavioural phenotyping. Several invited speakers will provide an overview of the state of the art research in this field and shed their light on expected challenges that lie ahead of us.

*PhenoRat is an international and inter-sectoral PhD programme for highly motivated young scientists, where state-of-the-art research is combined with a comprehensive training programme. PhenoRat aims to generate, characterise and validate transgenic ratmodels of neurodegenerative diseases with a special focus on (automated) behavioral paradigms and new tools for analysis and statistics to generate validated read-outs and enable behavioural monitoring and classification of disease-symptoms.
